The art of primitive emulsions: Tinting and Toning + home emulsion in 16mm

On March 4, 5 and 6, the collective in residence Crater-Lab will give the workshop The art of primitive emulsions: Tinting & Toning + home emulsion in 16mm at Hangar.

Workshop structure

Friday 4, from 4 p.m to 8 p.m : Creation of handmade emulsion.

Saturday 5, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m : Exposure by filming in camera and contact copying. Development of B/W film.

Sunday6, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m : Tinting and toning, experiments in color.

It is recommended to attend Esther Urlus’ film screening that takes place at ALUD! Festival #1, on Saturday, March 5th in Hangar.

The cost of attendance at the festival is included in the workshop.
