Results of the fifth edition of the exchange grants between Hangar and Casa de Velázquez, in collaboration with the Institut Français Barcelone

On June 8, the Programme Commitee of Hangar, together with the jury of Casa de Velázquez and the Institut Français Barcelone, decided the resolution of the fifth edition of the exchange grants between Hangar and Casa de Velázquez, in collaboration with the Institut Français Barcelone.

On behalf of Hangar, the Programme Commitee: Caterina Armirall (curator) and Lluís Nacenta (director of Hangar).
On behalf of Casa de Velázquez: Fabienne Aguado (director of artistic studies at the Académie de France à Madrid de la Casa de Velázquez).
On behalf of the Institut Français Barcelone: Max Vasseur (director of the Institut français Barcelone).

All of them, with voice and vote, make the final selection based on the review of the submitted dossiers.

DECIDE,

1. To award the grant for a production residency at Hangar (Barcelona) to Jenny Abouav and to select Juan Jesús Gugger as a reserve, in case of cancellation of the finalist.
2. To award two grants for two research residencies at Casa de Velázquez (Madrid) to Daniela Delgado Viteri and Abel Jaramillo Arévalo. Likewise, to select, in order of preference, Sofía Giménez aka SOFYA96 and Laura Bueno as reserves, in case of cancellation of the two finalists.
