Su Yu Hsin currently based in Taipei. After she finished the Bachelor in Fine Art at Shih Chien University (Taipei), She was selected to the Post Experience Program in Royal College of Art (London) with scholarship.
Her oeuvre contains installation, film and photography. The artistic creation was initiated from memories and self – discovery. To extract from inner-self, she translates emotions to the flow of time into poetical space experience. The psychological landscape she creates is the expansion of consciousness. From her work “ Mirror ” (2009), thousands of hair pins present her childhood memory about impressions of death. She visualize her thoughts with hair pins into changing patterns with viewer’s movement.“ Between Wall B ” is the project she is working on during the artist residency in Hangar Barcelona. Far from Taiwan, her loss of orientation have become the leitmotif of her art.
