Raquel Labrador on TVEE

Television as an exhibition space (TVEE)  is a project by Miniature that tries to contaminate television with contemporary art content. The project is open to artists’ participation until the 30th of May.

The last intervention at TVEE was carried out by Raquel Labrador:

RAQUEL LABRADOR‘s intervention on TV, Espacio expositivo on Vimeo.

"In "Confession", an anonymous person declares her attraction to television and how this has led to her marginalisation. An ironic work that humourously deals with television’s bad reputation amongst cultural circles. This piece came about from Miniature’s invitation to take part in their intervention box "We are DO". The fact that the piece would be broadcast on television made me think of an idea that might speak about the medium itself. A clear demonstration of an understanding that forms are there to be broken, norms are to be laughed at, and that art is there to offer innovative answers to the questions that might arise."
