Production grants 2019

Hangar, Barcelona’s visual arts production and research centre, launches a call for three production grants. With these grants, Hangar makes available to artists a budget, space and technical conditions suitable for the production of a work in process and contributes to its dissemination in a professional environment.

RULES

Benefits and allocation of the production call
– Economic endowment of 5000 € for each grant (not cumulative) for the development of the chosen projects.
– Technical advice to the production.

Note: If exclusive technical dedication to the project is required, the costs of Hangar’s technical personnel will be invoiced against the production budget.

Addressees
Participation in this call is open to all artists residing in Catalonia and is aimed at individual and collective creators working in the field of contemporary creation. In the case of groups, a person responsible for the project will have to be established.
The production grants are aimed at artists with original and unpublished projects, and the solidity of the project and its adaptation to the budget and calendar proposed in the dossier submitted to the call will be particularly valued.

Note: one of the three places in this call will be reserved for artists residing in Hangar.
