IMVEC public the source code of the Leptos 0.1 station
18th of October the IMVEC made public the source code of the Leptos 0.1 station, first version of the Leptos: https://gitlab.com/imvec/leptos/tree/master/0.1 of the Institute.
The Institute for surveillance and monitoring of contaminated areas is a non-profit organization that aims to research, development and implementation on the ground, of accessible tools for measuring the quality of air and water; generating observation and methods and visual forensics that facilitate the citizenship, adaptation to the consequences of global pollution processes, increasing capacity of anticipation to future environmental disasters and offering a protection tool before the impact on people’s health.
Within the framework of the 1st scholarship from the Hangar interactive laboratory, during the months of September to December the IMVEC team will develop the prototype Leptos, a station for detection and monitoring of lethal gases and solid particles in suspension, built with free hardware and DIY philosophy.
