Book presentation No existe sexo sin racialización

Lucía Egaña is part of the book “No existe sexo sin racialización” that will be launched on September 13th in Conde Duque, Madrid. “No existe sexo sin racialización” is the result of the rearrangement of the visual and textual materials that were generated at the homonymous seminar-workshop held at Intermediae, Matadero Madrid, in early June of this year, where exclusively sexually dissident persons were summoned and to organize and participate in the workshops.
With texts by Lucía Egaña Rojas, Yosjuan Piña Narváez and Kenza Benzidan, Leticia Rojas Miranda and Francisco Godoy Vega have edited this publication that proposes to address the conflicting cross between sexual dissent and anti-racism in the Spanish state. It is a book that carries out an exercise located and indignant of confrontation to the ideodes colondescendent that configures queer forms of the feminism eurowhites. “No existe sexo sin racialización” addresses issues such as white fragility, the long memory of colonial violence, the problems of North-South translation and the power of Afropesimism. The book includes a prologue by the feminist decolonial Afro-Dominican Yuderkys Espinosa Miñoso.
In this first presentation of the book  the editors of the book, Leticia Rojas Miranda and Francisco Godoy Vega, will participate next to one of its authors, Yosjuan Piña Narváez. It will be commented by two racialized guests, Alex Aguirre Sánchez and Esther M. Ortega.
