Art Barcelona

Since its foundation in 1990, Art Barcelona, association of galleries has been promoting joint initiatives by galleries dedicated to discovering, disseminating and defending contemporary art.

After more than 25 years of history, the galleries of Art Barcelona continue to work with the main objective of expanding the cultural offerings of the city and strengthening its presence on the international art scene. They defend the role of the gallerist as a promoter of cultural heritage, offering the public free access spaces where they can get information on art trends and promote new languages and new artists. They promote initiatives that attract citizens to the galleries, also understood as open spaces from which to generate reflection and debate on contemporary culture. They participate in the cultural life of Barcelona, getting involved in the events that have marked its recent history and playing a leading role in the platforms of debate and coordination of cultural strategies.
