Open call for #mymegarecipe, a project by Shaotong He

Personally favourite kitchen recipes are wanted.

In the frame of the Baden-Württemberg – Catalunya exchange program, artist in residence Shaotong He starts the project #mymegarecipe in which he will be collecting unique kitchen recipes from individual local residents until October 20 in Hangar. He will learn and practice finishing the recipes by himself, and his learning outcome will be weekly presented to the public at Hangar.

In return, to keep and spread the share-spirit of the recipe providers, He will share his own recipes for making art work to whom dare to try the foods or drinks he makes. Everyone who get He’s recipe, has the right to decide to realize the idea on it or not. If any art works would be finished base on these ideas, the co-authors would be asked to show their works in documented form. Their contribution will count in the credits of the project.

Next food-sharing/recipe exchanging will be on:

October 11: 4 p.m. – 6 p.m.
October 13: 1 p.m. – 3 p.m.
October 19: 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.

The meetings will be in Hangar’s courtyard.
