Music creation workshop with live coding

On July 6 and 7 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, the collective in residence TOPLAP teaches a live coding musical workshop in Hangar.

This workshop introduces the foundations of live coding from a critical perspective, so that attendees can start in practice and appropriate the techniques to use them in their own speeches.

The contents are:

Introduction, a brief history, basic concepts

Different types of languages and programs, installation

Basic functionalities

Synths, samples and algorithms capable of generating sound material

How to modify such algorithms in real time

Basic structures applicable to a composition

Final performance
