Resolution of the call for the 3rd edition of the Exchange Grants between Hangar and Casa de Velázquez

The Programme Comitee of Hangar, reunited with the jury of the Casa de Velázquez and of the Institut Français Barcelone decide, on March 15th, the resolution of the third edition of the exchange grants between Hangar and the Casa de Velázquez.

On behalf of Hangar, the Commission of Programs: Pep Dardanyà (artist) and Lluís Nacenta (director of Hangar).

On behalf of Casa de Velázquez: Fabienne Aguado (director of artistic studies at l’Académie de France à Madrid de la Casa de Velázquez)

On behalf of the Institut Français Barcelone: ​​Pascale de Schuyter Hualpa (director of the Institut Français Barcelone).

All of them, with voice and vote, make the final selection based on the review of the dossiers presented.

DECIDE,

1. To give the grant for the realization of a production residence in Hangar (Barcelona) to: Sandrine Deumier and Maureen Ragoucy in reserve in case of cancellation of the finalist.

2. To select, among the applications submitted, two artists living in Barcelona for the realization of two research residences in the Casa de Velázquez (Madrid), in the following order: Alán Carrasco and Adrian Schindler and Mireia Castillo Saladrigues in reserve in case of cancellation of one of the two finalists.

3. To give the grant for the realization of a production residence in the Casa de Velázquez (Madrid) to: Laura González Llaneli and Antoni Hervas Cortes in reserve in case of cancellation of the finalist.
