Interactivitat i electrònica bàsica per a artistes (I)
Curs on s’explicaran les metodologies i tècniques bàsiques de la interacció física per a explorar les possibilitats creatives de la comunicació entre el món físic i el món virtual. Constarà d’una sèrie de presentacions simples on s’explicaran de manera senzilla aquest conjunt de tècniques.

FASE II: BUILD YOUR OWN SYNTHESISER. VALVE DISTORTION MODULE
5th and 6th of February, from 11:00 onward
Face II is an open series of workshops about building modular synthesisers, where those attending build electronic musical instruments according to their own needs. (Given the modular nature of the devices, the series is also modular, and each person can sign up to the workshops he/she wants. In order to for this to be possible, there are two workshops every month (on weekends), and one may choose from any of the modules that are available. Apart from this, we propose a new module every month. The available modules are the following:
(VCO, Low pass VCF, Quad VCA, Quad envelope generator (based on the Buchla 281), noise and randomness generator, power source, Interface Midi/CV,Ring/balanced modulator, Pacht + micro/guitar preamps.

Senda Gallery presents Anna Malagrida’s new series of works: “Escaparates”
Anna Malagrida’s show "Escaparates" ("Shop Windows") will be opening next Wednesday, 19th of January, from 20:00 until 21:30 at Senda Gallery. Within it you may see the video "El limpiador de cristales ("The Window Cleaner"), produced by Hangar in 2010.
Anna Malagrida (Barcelona, 1970) develops a personal viewpoint using photography and video. Often conceived around the dialectical opposition between inside and outside, her works invite the viewer to ask questions about his own gaze. The window, the shop window, the veil or the frontier, are some of the elements used by the artist to make different spaces and media converse.

A NEW PROJECT PRODUCED IN HANGAR
From today until the 30th of December, you may see the Ampel Pong project, by Mireia Subirana, produced in Hangar. The project is installed at the Portal de Santa Madrona, and will remain active between 18:00 and 21:00.
WINTER HOLIDAYS
Today, the 24th of December, Hangar will be open until 14:00, and will remain closed from the 31st of December until the 7th of January.
