Alto el foc. Meetings in solidarity with Palestine
After the day of solidarity with Palestine on Friday 10 November, we believe it is necessary to maintain a space and time in which to hold meetings and conversations in order to give continuity to the questions and actions that arose. For this reason, in Hangar we will continue with the meetings on Mondays in November from 5 to 7pm, in which we propose two activities:
Open working group with resident artists and projects
Group with resident artists, resident projects, collectives, friends and whoever wants to join, to talk, exchange, debate and put words to the editing, printing and collective activation of protest posters and other proposals activated during the first meeting.
Digital self-protection. Open consultancy sessions shared between the Hangar Networking and Interfaces Lab and LAAS
The digital environment is increasingly becoming a public sphere without its spaces being public or its governance being explicit, let alone secure. The social networks, the web spaces, the data we reveal about what we consult or the remote documents we circulate and sign have invisible information paths that make it necessary to think about strategies of individual and collective protection. We open up a space for mutual advice for people, organisations or institutions that want to ensure a minimum level of protection when it comes to expressing themselves.
