SuperCollider with tea (a.k.a SuperCollider meeting)

On May 20th at 6:30 pm, Hangar hosts SuperCollider with tea (a.k.a SuperCollider meeting), a Q&A session dedicated to the practice of live coding with SuperCollider in the framework of the European project On-the-fly. Shelly Knotts (On-the-fly artist-in-residence) and the Toplap Barcelona live coding community will participate.

SuperCollider (McCartney, J. 1996) is a programming language, originally designed for sound synthesis and algorithmic composition that is used for the practice of live coding, either as a language or as a sound synthesis engine.

SuperCollider is used in many different ways, so it is especially enriching to hear different people talk about the different ways in which they use it.

In the session there will also be a chance to solve doubts derived from the last SuperCollider workshop given by Shelly during the ProxySpace meeting and it will serve as a preparation for the Live Coding From Scratch session that Toplap Barcelona is organizing on May 27th, which will be dedicated to Supercollider.
