The AAVC calls on artists to attend the programme "Digital Gap: Visual Artists on the Web 2.0", next Thursday 19th of May at 19:00 in Hangar.
Many Catalan visual artists do not have their own personal website.
The majority of those who do depend on a professional programmer for updating or modifying its contents.
Barcelona Open Studios 2011
The studios of artists and craftsmen in the neighbourhoods of Ciutat Vella, Gràcia, Farró-Putxet, Sarriá, and Pueblo Nuevo are now open to visitors.
You are all invited to the opening of BCN Open Studios, and of the exhibition "Síntesis" on the 12th of May at 19:30, at the Dels Angels Square 5-6.

How do you communicate?
How is your work integrated within a specialist field? How is your portfolio organised, and what discourse does it follow in order to present your work? How are your statement, art bio and CV structured? How do you present images within printed formats? Are you familiar with publishing and distribution? And with communicating still or moving images?
The course on How to present and communicate your professional art career will be taught by Joan Morey from the 12th until the 20th of May.
Raquel Labrador on TVEE
Television as an exhibition space (TVEE) is a project by Miniature that tries to contaminate television with contemporary art content. The project is open to artists’ participation until the 30th of May.
