Hangar Obert 2023

Hangar Obert will be celebrated on the 14th, 15th and 16th of September. For three days, the centre will be open to the public with a programme of visits, performances, screenings and a festive programme.

On Friday the 15th and Saturday the 16th, artists, resident projects from Hangar will open the doors of their studios so that anyone who wants to can have access to the work, production and research processes they develop during their stay at Hangar, as well as the conditions of possibility of their projects, in open conversation with them and other agents working at the centre. Hangar Obert will also feature a selection of performances, screenings and interventions by resident artists and projects, as well as a festive programme to conclude each day.

One day before, on Thursday 14th, as the opening session of the programme, the talk How do you do? will take place as part of the Hangar Visitors Programme, with the participation of Daniel Blanga-Gubblay, director of the Kunstenfestival des Arts in Brussels and Nora O’Murchu, director of the Transmediale in Berlin.

Bonus track: Hangar Obert 2023 attendees will be able to get the poster of this edition, printed by the project in residence Lumbung Press and designed by Oficina de disseny.
